I happened in on this site through an old classmate of mine. I just finished reading every message in here and I feel like the youngster of the group. I was born and raised there, going to P.S. 277, Marine Park J H S and then Sheepshead Bay High. My parents are still living there on the canal. My brothers were part of The GB Little League. I remember The Dairy down on Cyyrus Ave. And Daves the candy store. The candy store on Seba Ave then was Fickins? ( spelling ? ) Um,,,,I remember all the stores the Giordanos owned. And who could ever forget Victorias Pizzeria. The beach, when it was known as The Point,,and of course Kiddy Beach ( where I use to bring my own kids) But time marches on and they have now graduated to Manhattan Beach...HaHaHa. My goodness, what a wonderful site to come across, I will be a weekly if not daily visitor to continue to read the warm memories of others :-) You can write to me at Justme1620@aol.com
